SPED 419 Reading Strategies for Special Education II (3) Prerequisites: SPED 417 or consent of instructor. This course uses case studies to assist pre-service special education teachers to understand the process of classroom-based support for language and literacy constructions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching/learning strategies, response to intervention, and differentiated instruction as each applies to reading instruction. A 30 hour field placement is required.
