Foundation scholarships available to assist Concord University students are derived from endowments of approximately $50 million within the Concord University Foundation, Inc. plus varied other sources of private, corporate, philanthropic, and governmental assistance. All students are encouraged to apply for the Foundation scholarships. The scholarships are awarded based on the criteria set forth by the donor and the availability of funding each academic year. Students must reapply each academic year for Foundation scholarships.
Institutional scholarships funded by the University are available through Concord University's Office of Admission and are offered competitively. Applicants for scholarships must be granted admission to Concord University and meet the required criteria for the scholarship. Concord University awards institutional scholarships to students including academic, performing arts, community service, student activities, athletic, and academic department scholarships. Concord University's success in attracting and retaining good academic students is based on assisting those students with earned merit financial scholarships.
Contact the Admissions or Financial Aid Offices for complete information and application procedures for the numerous scholarships offered by Concord University. Information is also available on the Financial Aid webpage.
