The Division of Science, Mathematics & Health


The Division of Science, Mathematics & Health includes the Department of Biology , the Department of Human Performance  (athletic training, health and physical education); the Department of Mathematics  and Computer Science (mathematics and computer science), the The Department of Physical Sciences  (chemistry, geology and environmental science, physics, and physical science), and courses in the Natural Sciences.

In addition to the Bachelor of Science degree, the Division offers a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geosciences , a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems , and 3+1 programs affiliated with health science institutions leading to degrees in chemistry with an emphasis in pharmacy or clinical laboratory science/medical technology.

Pre-professional studies in medicine and dentistry  may be combined with any of the Bachelor of Science programs.
