CHEM 358 Instrumental Analysis Laboratory (1) Co-requisites: CHEM 352 .
A laboratory course designed to demonstrate and apply the concepts presented in CHEM 352 . Emphasis on advanced techniques in physical measurement, statistics, and error analysis. Includes structural and optical spectroscopy (IR, NMR, absorption, fluorescence), thermodynamic measurements, chemical kinetics, and dynamics. Students are expected to be able to identify and follow professionally recommended safety practices. Must be taken concurrently with CHEM 352 .
