ENGL 400 Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

Prerequisites: English major/minor or instructor approval. Minimum GPA of 2.75 in major. Junior or Senior standing. Must have earned credit for ENGL 101 and ENGL 102 .
Course will focus on introducing students to teaching practices in relation to composition instruction at the collegiate level. Students will work with an instructor in either ENGL 101 or ENGL 102 throughout the semester. Applicants ideally should be interested in teaching at the university level or enrolled in courses preparing them for a role in Education.
