The social and historical philosophy of children in the criminal justice system will be investigated. An examination of the socio-legal aspects of delinquency, including a critical analysis of trends and contemporary treatment. Understandings of human development, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and the school to prison pipeline will be considered.
