The Certificate in Environmental and Applied Geology (12 hours) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of scientific and engineering solutions to critical environmental challenges. The program equips students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to address real-world issues in environmental management, water and energy resources, and the mitigation of natural hazards. Through courses such as GEO 305 Environmental Geology and Hydrology , students will build a solid foundation in the interactions between geological processes, surface and groundwater hydrology, and human activities.
