The degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in chemistry requires successful completion of 120 semester hours, including (1) the Program of General Studies, and (2) one of four chemistry programs: (I) The chemistry comprehensive option, (II) the pre-professional option , (III) the clinical laboratory science option, or (IV) the pharmacy option In addition to the requirements above, the 3+1 programs in allied health sciences (clinical laboratory science and pharmacy) require completion of a fourth-year, off-campus residency with passing grades as described below.
