Education, Mathematics 5-9 (Not a Stand-Alone Field)

Students may combine a middle school program in Mathematics 5-9 with (1) the Elementary Education Program; or (2) a specialization for grades 5-9; or (3) a specialization for grades 5-Adult.

The degree of Bachelor of Science in Education, with certification to teach mathematics, requires successful completion of 120 semester hours, including (1) the General Education Program ; (2) the Professional Education Component; and (3) the requirements associated with one of the mathematics certifications:
