SOWK 302 Human Diversity (3) An overview of racial, ethnic, gender, age, religion, disability, and sexual orientation issues. The course will focus on helping students develop a conceptual understanding about complex and emotionally-charged issues of diversity, human rights, and social and economic justice. Students are challenged by using research, guided readings, and class discussion in understanding the societal implications of diversity.
