Minors in English
Additional coursework in English will enrich any degree program. It represents a particular asset for students who plan to pursue graduate study and/ or careers in which critical thinking, reading, and writing skills are crucial (for example, law, communications, social services, government, etc.).
Depending on the student's chosen degree program, fulfillment of the course requirements for an English minor will be recorded on the graduate's transcript either as a Minor in English (as a component of a B.A. degree and certain B.S. degrees) or as a Non-degree Minor in English.
