BIOL 215 Medicinal Plants and Ethnobotany (4) Prerequisites: BIOL 101 and BIOL 102 or BIOL 103 , or permission of instructor. Co-requisites: BIOL 215L
The use of plants as medicines, poisons, and hallucinogens that provide the basis for modern medicine and pharmacology. Examines the interactions of plants and traditional peoples.
Three hours lecture, two hours laboratory.
