EDUC 516 Integrated Methods in Secondary Education (3) Prerequisites: None This course is designed to provide a framework for understanding how to teach students for maximum learning at the secondary level (grades 5-Adult). Student development is tied to various strategies and to best practices for successful instruction. Mastery models are presented that reinforce the decision-making process in selecting instructional strategies, and the application of reflective practice to evaluate success is emphasized. A twenty-five (25) clock hour experience in a school setting is required.
