BGEN 412 International Business (3) Prerequisites: MGT 305 and MKT 305 . Junior standing or consent of instructor. This course is an overview of the cultural, economic, financial and political forces that shape the current international business environment, as well as an introduction to theories, concepts and skills relevant to managing effectively in today's globalized world. It focuses on the challenges and opportunities associated with organizational management and business strategy in the global environment. This course is recommended to be taken in the first semester of students' senior year, before Strategic Management.
