Prerequisites: Senior standing or permission of instructor.
Critical analysis of primary scientific literature, applied statistics, and experimental design. Each student designs and carries out an independent research project, and gives an oral presentation on their project, which is open to the public. At the end of the course, comprehensive program assessments are administered; these must be completed to obtain a passing grade.
