CRIM 304 Reentry and Recidivism (3) This course will consider the evolving need for Prisoner Reentry Programs due to the sense of urgency for attention to the successful transition of prisoners to the community, jail and prison overpopulation, readjustment to society/family/employment, state budget constraints due to increase in correctional construction and operational costs, and the barriers to citizenship post felony. Rehabilitation trends and successes will be reviewed.
