Techniques and practice of geologic data collection and field mapping in diverse settings. Includes map and cross-section preparation, outcrop and site analysis, field geophysical surveys, and written interpretive reports. A project-based course focusing on field sites in the Appalachians. Additional fee for travel may be required.
One hour lecture, six hours lab or field
