Students majoring in Cybersecurity complete coursework in cybersecurity, computer science, and mathematics. The major pairs well with most minors.
Concord's curriculum is designed to give students a thorough understanding of the core tenants of cybersecurity; effective program management; prevention and detection of cybersecurity events; defensive architectures; managing responses and mitigations; and designing information systems securely. The program prepares students for a wide variety of careers and graduate school.
The degree requires the successful completion of 120 semester hours including: (1) the General Education Program ; 2) the multidisciplinary core requirements in cybersecurity, computer science, and mathematics; and (3) elective coursework.
A GPA of 2.0 is required.
