Professional Accountancy

The Professional Accountancy Minor is primarily geared toward students who wish to meet specific course requirements for accounting graduate program admissions and/or to sit for the CPA exam. Completing the minor in addition to the Business Administration degree with the Accounting emphasis would be ideal; however, this minor would provide any student in the Business Administration degree program broad knowledge of corporate and tax accounting concepts.

ACCT 315 Governmental and Not for Profit Accounting (3)
ACCT 316 Accounting & Business Data Analytics (3)
ACCT 318 Cost Accounting (3)
ACCT 403 Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination (3)
ACCT 417/417L VITA Experience (3)
ACCT 420 Special Topics: Accounting (3) Can be repeated for credit for all alternate course titles.
